NCW Alliance First Coaching Staff

WENATCHHEE, WA — NCW Alliance FC (NCWAFC) of the NorthWest Premier League (NWPL),  is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Richards as Head Coach, Kylie Brunner as Assistant Coach, Luke Astell as Director of Fitness and Javier Reyna as Goalkeeper Coach of the club.

“Jamie, Luke and Javier have many years of soccer experience under their belts and we predict that together they will make a significant impact to the success of our team”, said Cindy Abouammo, Alliance President. “We can’t wait to get them started assessing all the talented players we have available here in north central Washington and with that in mind we’re hoping to announce our tryout dates soon.”

Richards coached Chelan High School to the 2013 boys soccer state title. He’s also been an assistant in the Wenatchee Valley CC soccer program and was Head Coach of the Wenatchee FC semipro team on 2016. “It is an honor to be a part of this program and I am looking forward to an exciting season!” Richards says of his new post.

“I like diversity and being able to adjust by the seat of your pants. Defensive structure is key to a great foundation. Midfield and forward is where the individual creativity will decipher the attack we will use.” Richards does express an overall mantra about how he leads a soccer club.  “Passion, persistence, discipline, work ethic, and perfecting the simplest!  We all, meaning the coaching staff, administration, and players need to expect the most out of each other!”

Kylie Brunner joins NCW Alliance FC as Assistant Coach. Kylie is a Cashmere WA native where she played for Cashmere High School after graduating she moved to play at Spokane Community College and Graceland University in Iowa.

 

 

Luke Astell as Director of Fitness. Astell is co-owner of Mount Stuart Physical Therapy and Balance Point Health Fitness in Leavenworth, Washington. “I was introduced to soccer as a PT with an interest in sports performance. I was asked to look at  movement and address injuries for the local high school team and for my daughter’s team,” says Astell. “I look forward to this year and working with the team and coach Jamie Richards.”

Javier Reyna, has already previously been identified to serve as goalkeeper coach. Javier held the assistant/goalkeeper coach position at Wenatchee Valley College men’s team and the Wenatchee Fire FC indoor semi-pro team from 2013 to 2015. and is the current assistant/goalkeeper coach for the Cashmere High School boys. His certifications include a United States Soccer Federation “E” license and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Level-2 goalkeeper coach license.

“I believe we now have a very strong coaching group and are well positioned to move on to tryouts and player selections”, Cindy said. “It’s going to be an exciting Spring.”
